Conquered

Conquered — “And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in Me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in Me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” (John 16:33, The Passion Translation)

On many days, it doesn’t look like Jesus has conquered the world. It seems that the world is winning in the battle against truth. Yet Jesus told us ahead of time that it would be seem this way. He empowered each of us with His peace and rest, so that when the storms of life come, we can lean into Him and walk in His ways. We can show the world we are made more than conquerors in Christ!

“Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and His demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!” (Romans 8:37, TPT)

Take the hand of peace and rest (Jesus) and walk in His triumphant glory!
