Encourage, 1 Sam. 30:6 (KJV), “And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.”

David came home to find not only his stuff gone but also his family. All those around him began to blame and point fingers at him. They even talked of stoning him. What did David do? He encouraged himself in Daddy God. Not only did he seek encouragement, he also wisdom on what to do. The story tells us he and his men recovered all that had been lost. Sometimes, it seems everyone is against us — not just the enemy, but also our friends. Encourage yourself in Daddy God. Seek His counsel in all things, and watch the victory come! He will give the direction you need. So encourage yourself in Daddy God today!
