Set Apart

Set apart, 1 Cor. 1:1-3 (TPT), “From Paul, divinely appointed according to the plan of God, to be an apostle of the Anointed One, Jesus. Our fellow believer Sosthenesa joins me in writing you this letter addressed to the community of God throughout the city of Corinth. For you have been made pure, set apart in the Anointed One, Jesus. And God has invited you to be His devoted and holy people, and not only you, but everyone everywhere who calls on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord, and ours also.

“May joyous grace and endless peace be yours continually from our Father God and from our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!”

What does it mean to be set apart? It’s to be placed into a special place or service in the body of Christ. Once we make the transition from being a pre-Christian to being a Christian, that’s when we are set apart from the worldly way of living. We aren’t taken away or hidden, it’s actually the opposite. Being set apart in Christ brings us into a place to be noticed as different! Being different gives us the ability to share with others why we are different.

Let your ‘set apartness’ shine bright so those looking for Christ can find you!

Be a Blessing, Sir Gregory
