Encourage, 1Thes 3:6-8 (The Passion Translation), “But now, Timothy has just returned to us and brought us the terrific news of your faith and love. He informed us that you still hold us dear in your hearts and that you long to see us as much as we long to see you. So, our dear brothers and sisters, in the midst of all our distress and difficulties, your steadfastness of faith has greatly encouraged our hearts. We feel alive again as long as we know that you are standing firm in the Lord.”

Ever had someone’s name or face pop into your mind? That’s probably Holy Spirit prompting you to pray for them. We never know when a phone call, a text, an email or a card in the mail will greatly affect their day—  maybe even their week. Just like when Timothy told Paul how the church praying for him greatly affected him.

Regarding that person you keep thinking about or who randomly pops into your thoughts, reach out and encourage them. You may be the very one to break their despair!
