Fear, ISA 41:10 (The Mirror Bible), “Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from Me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with My strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand.”
Fear is a very real thing that can immobilize you. There is also a fear that protects life and safety! Sadly, we live in a world that uses fear to manipulate and control us. Yes there is a healthy fear, but we can use that to trust in ourselves. Just like when Peter took his eyes off Jesus, fear overtook him and he sank. The same happens with us when we take our eyes off Jesus, that’s when the trouble starts.
Just like the song says, “fear is not my future, You are” (link below). Let’s keep our gaze on Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. Tell fear, “you not my friend!”
