Grow — “As for you, divinely loved ones, since you are forewarned of these things, be careful that you are not led astray by the error of the lawless and lose your firm grip on the truth. But continue to grow and increase in God’s grace and intimacy with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May He receive all the glory both now and until the day eternity begins. Amen!” (2 Peter 3:17-18, The Passion Translation)

In Christ there are many ways we can grow. We grow in grace, love, humility, knowledge, and wisdom. Once we stop growing in Christ, we start growing in our flesh, in our own abilities. which lead to one conclusion — death.

Proverbs tells us, “You can rationalize it all you want and justify the path of error you have chosen, but you’ll find out in the end that you took the road to destruction.” (Proverbs 14:12, The Passion Translation)

We can grow in the ways of destruction, hell or death. But let us choose life and not death! Holy Spirit is with us to lead the way!
