Help, Eph 6:13-18 (The Message Bible), “Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.”

I used to question ‘once we put on Daddy God’s armor, why take it off?’ I’ve come to see that each battle takes a different piece of His armor. Some times we need different parts of the armor to stand against the attacks of our adversaries. Love doesn’t need a helmet or shield it needs vulnerability. The belt of truth would be sufficient. And so on!

Holy Spirit is with us to help us choose which piece we need and to help us keep the armor in top condition. Daddy God provided it. Jesus paid for it. They are with us so we become more than conquers.

Kings had armor bearers. (We are kings; see 2PT 2:9.) Holy Spirit, Jesus, and Daddy God are our armor bearers! They not only help us get dressed, They also help in repairing any parts that become tarnished or damaged in our battles!
