Persecution, Mat. 5:44-45 (TPT), “However, I say to you, love your enemy, bless the one who curses you, do something wonderful for the one who hates you, and respond to the very ones who persecute you by praying for them. For that will reveal your identity as children of your heavenly Father. He is kind to all by bringing the sunrise to warm and rainfall to refresh whether a person does what is good or evil” 

When persecution comes how do we respond? Do we pray for them and do something wonderful for them? Or do we get defensive and seek revenge. Love is the right response; really it’s the only one as a follower of Christ! Jesus came and gave His life for all mankind, not just for a few special people. Embrace the persecution with love and watch Daddy God raise up a standard against it.
