Rejoice

Daily Vitamin

Rejoice, JN. 14:27-28 (The Mirror Bible), “Peace be with you! I give you My own peace - this is not the kind the world gives - this is peace in the midst of troubled times; therefore you have nothing to fear! Let not your hearts be timid.

“You have heard Me say that I go away to come to be face to face with you; now if you’re in love with Me you would not be threatened by the idea of My departure, but you would rejoice since I’ll be going to the Father and My Father is greater than Me. From now on We will be present in a much closer capacity to you than what I could ever be while I am with you in the flesh!”

Jesus continually told those closest to Him that He must leave so Holy Spirit could come. They struggled with His word about this. But His going allowed for Him to become closer to them than ever before. And not by Himself, Daddy God and Holy Spirit also came to be with them in a much more intimate way. 

We have the same promise they had. Jesus came back to live with us face to face. And He didn’t come alone. He brought Daddy God and Holy Spirit with all of Heaven’s resources with Him. Now that is something to rejoice about!!!
