Others — “My desire and constant prayer is that I would succeed in coming to you, according to the plan and timing of God. I yearn to come and be face-to-face with you and get to know you. For I long to impart to you some spiritual gift that will empower you to stand strong in your faith. Now, this means that when we come together and are side by side, something wonderful will be released. We can expect to be co-encouraged and co-comforted by each other’s faith!” (Romans 1:10-12, The Passion Translation)

Our world as become a on-line society. We tend to spend more time on-line with others than face to face. Paul struggled with something similar. He wrote letters, but there is something powerful about standing beside someone. Touch has been proven to help babies grow healthily. On-line and letters aren’t evil, they just lose some of the ability to be a transfer of authentic love!

Let’s continue to seek out others who we can be encouraged and comforted by, and visa versa!
