Punishment, 1John 4:18-19 (The Passion Translation), “Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly afraid of punishment has not reached love’s perfection. Our love for others is our grateful response to the love God first demonstrated to us.”

Love doesn’t bring punishment, the consequences of our decisions do. Because of the love Daddy God has for us, He allowed Jesus to cover our punishment. Holy Spirit came to give us strength to overcome the temptation of fear. Why would They do this? Because They loved us even when we were still in our father’s loins.

Let’s allow Their love to fill us so we will not only expel our own fear but also put the fear in our family, friends, and the community on notice!
