Seeds, James 3:17-18 (The Mirror Bible), “The wisdom that originates from above sets the pace in innocence; it loves peace; it is always appropriate (polite); persuaded about that which is good; filled with compassion; these fruits are pure goodness and without discrimination. Seed always predicts the harvest. Righteousness inspires the kind deeds of those who embrace peace; these are like seeds sown into fertile soil.”

Seeds produce after their own kind; they have no choice in what they produce. A corn seed produces corn; an acorn produces an oak tree. “But the fruitproduced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions:joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindnessin action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit.” (Gal. 5:22-23, TPT) These start as a seed in us and grow into fully mature fruit.

A seed of love can never produce hate. Seeds of lies never produce truth. We are a seed planted in the garden of Holy Spirit. Remember, a seed will reproduce its kind. So what is your life producing? Once we accept who we are in Christ, we will produce the fruit He sowed into the earth.

What seeds are you planting in life? What fruit is your life producing? Holy Spirit can uproot any bad seeds and replant in you life producing seeds. It’s called being reborn!
