Roots, Col 2:6-7 (The Mirror Bible), “Your daily walk is no different from that initial embrace when you first understood your divine association in Him. (As you have received Christ, so walk in Him.) Just like the roots of a tree, draw your sustenance and strength from Him. Like a building rising up out of its foundation your life makes the full stature of Christ visible; standing tall in His shoes, firm in your faith posture. The language of gratitude that overflows from your lips reflects the exact impression of what you were taught.”

Paul encourages us to allow our lives to grow deep into Christ. He uses the analogy of a tree growing its roots deep. So how do we grow deeper into Christ you may ask? Several ways will help, like spending time in His word, pending time with other believer’s, and spending time in Daddy God’s presence. Time is the key way we grow closer to Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. Just like a tree, it takes time to grow deeper into the Kingdom of God. In some seasons our roots grow deeper and quicker and other times they grow slower. So don’t get discouraged. Keep on growing!

Be a Blessing, Sir Gregory
