Prayer, JN. 17:16-21 (The Voice Bible), “Like Me, they are not products of the corrupt world order. Immerse them in the truth, the truth Your voice speaks. In the same way You sent Me into this world, I am sending them. It is entirely for their benefit that I have set Myself apart so that they may be set apart by truth. I am not asking solely for their benefit; this prayer is also for all the believers who will follow them and hear them speak. Father, may they all be one as You are in Me and I am in You; may they be in Us, for by this unity the world will believe that You sent Me.”

Most people, even those who aren’t following Jesus, know what we call the Lord’s Prayer. (Mat. 6:9) We learned this was just a guide on how to pray. Jesus prayed many more prayers. In His longest prayer, in John 17, Jesus prayed that we would be one with Him… and one with Daddy God and Holy Spirit too. Jesus made a way for us to be in this culture but not of it. He set us apart so we could reveal Daddy God to our world. We are one with Them! Let Their light shine!
