Behavior, Tit. 3:4-6 (The Mirror Bible), “Oh happy day. It was the generosity of God and His fondness for mankind that dawned on us like a shaft of light. Our days of darkness were over. Light shone everywhere and we became aware: God rescued the human race. Salvation is not a reward for good behavior. It has absolutely nothing to do with anything that we have done. God’s mercy saved us. Holy Spirit endorses in us what happened to us when Jesus Christ died and was raised. When we heard the glad announcement of salvation it was like taking a deep warm bath. Our minds were thoroughly cleansed and re-booted into newness of life.

“Holy Spirit is the extravagant Administrator of the salvation of Jesus Christ; gushing forth within us like an artesian well.”

Outward behavior comes from deep with-in us! A lot of the  time people don’t even know why they behave in certain ways, like children who have no sense of what is wrong or right.

We reward others by what we determine is right or wrong behavior. Daddy God, Holy Spirit, and Jesus don’t look at behavior in that way. They made a way for our behavior to change. Not because of what or who we are, but because of Their love for us.

We quote Jesus’ words on the cross, “Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing” as forgiveness for those who were crucifying Him. But in reality, it was only a part of what He was asking. We were also include in that cry. He knew we would stray from His truth about who we are without Him physically here to show us the way. So They sent Holy Spirit to come be our guide.

Remember when Christ was on the cross, you were on His mind. And no matter of your behavior, He still hung there and forgave you!
