Ways — “Throughout our history God has spoken to our ancestors by His prophets in many different ways. The revelation He gave them was only a fragment at a time, building one truth upon another. But to us living in these last days, God now speaks to us openly in the language of a Son, the appointed Heir of everything, for through Him God created the panorama of all things and all time. The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor, the exact expression of God’s true nature—His mirror image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of His spoken word….” (Hebrews 1:1-3a, The Passion Translation)

In the past, Daddy God spoke to His people through prophets who each spoke in unique ways. Then Jesus came and explained things in different ways. The prophets spoke of one coming who would bring freedom; Jesus came to fulfullfill all that. Now Jesus speaks to each of us directly in different ways — like dreams, visions, the written word, and other people.

Early Christians were called followers of ‘The Way’.  That didn’t mean there was only one way God communicated. Holy Spirit communicates to and through each of us according to our own design. You cannot say that the way God communicates to you or to your group is the only way. This is the problem we have in our religious culture; we think our way is the only way.
