Daily Vitamin

Orderly, 1 Cor 14:39-40 (The Passion Translation), “So, beloved friends, with all this in mind, be passionatey to prophesy and don’t forbid anyone from speaking in tongues, doing all things in a beautiful and orderly way.”

We have focused so much on everything being ‘orderly’ or done ‘decently’ that we have forbidden the very things we are supposed to be doing. We have been tricked into worrying about getting things done correctly (or maybe even perfectly), so we end up doing nothing. It seems that the body of Christ has been silenced, and only a few are actually doing the things we’re supposed to be doing! We are all supposed to be actively participating in the work of the Kingdom of God.

Let’s not get caught up in doing thing’s so orderly that we do nothing!
