Strengthened, Acts 6:10-12 (The Passion Translation), “Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of His explosive power flowing in and through you. Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-god’s and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.”

Paul reminded the Ephesians to get strengthened in their union with Christ and to wear their armor when they go into battle. That’s when we go into battle — not if, but when! Our armor is meant to be worn so we can go on the offensive, not to hold back and be on the defensive. He also reminds us that we aren’t fighting a physical battle but a spiritual one. We win through our union with Christ, Holy Spirit, and Daddy God!

Let’s not leave home with out first being prepared to to walk in victory.
