Suffering, Rom 18:18-19 (The Passion Translation), “I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us. The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters!”

Let’s not let the sufferings of this present hour distract us from the promises we have of a grand future. Sometimes our suffering will completely drown out all the promises of Daddy God. Our pain is real, but it’s only temporary.

C.S. Lewis wrote, “We can ignore even pleasure. But pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”
