Concern, John 21:21-23 (The Passion Translation), “So when Peter saw him, he asked Jesus, “What’s going to happen to him?” Jesus replied, “If I decide to let him live until I return, what concern is that of yours? You must still keep on following Me!” So the rumor started to circulate among the believers that this disciple wasn’t going to die. But Jesus never said that, He only said, “If I let him live until I return, what concern is that of yours?”

Peter was just given a prophetic word how his life was going to be. But instead of pondering on it, he got distracted with what was going to happen to John. Oh how many times are we more concerned what will happen to others instead of taking care of our own lives? Jesus reminded Peter that it’s not his concern what happens to others.

Let’s spend time with Holy Spirit, Jesus, and Daddy God while working on our own stuff. Paradoxically, that is actually the key to helping others understand their way to a grand reward!
