Disciple — “Then Jesus came close to them and said, “All authority of the universe has been given to Me. Now wherever you go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And teach them to faithfully follow all that I have commanded you. And never forget that I am with you every day, even to the completion of this age.” (Matthew 28:18-20, The Passion Translation)

Before Jesus left, He reminded His disciples to do the very thing He had done —disciple not only people but also nations. He gave them the authority and power to do it.

Somewhere in times past, we lost that original command of discipleship. We have grown really good at leading people to Christ, but we have forgotten to disciple them. It’s kinda like catching fish and then leaving them in the boat or on shore, hoping they will clean themselves and find their way.

Let’s return to what Christ gave us the power and authority to do! It’s the key to restoring our culture and world.
