Expectation — “I can just see how the Spirit of Jesus Christ, like a conductor of music, takes all of this together with your prayers and turns it into a concert that celebrates salvation. My thoughts are not trapped in my head. They roam free in expectation that I will not be ashamed by any contradiction. My immediate circumstances do not distract from my message. I am convinced that our conversation now and always will continue to give an accurate account of the magnificence of Christ. What are your expectations in Christ? Is it that life will be all peaches and cream? Or that you will have the ability to overcome the trails and temptations which come our way? Christ told us there will be times of contradictions to what we believe. Even the first disciples didn’t always understand what was going on. Yet they stayed when the crowds left.

Will you stay when things get hard? Or will your expectations keep you close to Christ because you expect that He will make things right?
