Forsake — “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:5, New King James Version)

“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5, NKJV)

In this era of Christianity, Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit haven’t forsaken us, but it seems that we have forsaken Them! To compound this, we have so many people who feel that they have been forsaken — maybe not by Daddy God but by others such as friends and family. We live in a culture where most of us are estranged from at least one family member, if not more.

It’s also a season where we need others around us more than ever! As we begin this holiday season, reach out to someone who might be feeling forsaken. And remember Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit will never leave you or forsake you!
