Friendship, Rom 15:5-7 (The Mirror Bible), “God’s patience and reflection of who we really are transmits in us like-mindedness toward one another according to the pattern of Christ Jesus. The opinion of God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, speaks one global language in us inspired by the same passion. This gives us all the more reason to embrace one another in friendship with the same warmth wherewith Christ embraced us into the welcome of God.”

Friendship is both a want and a need that we all have. Yet it seems also to be an area that brings lots of turmoil inside us. Jesus called His followers friends, not slaves or servants. So then why do we struggle so much in this area of life? I would say that we need to get the revelation that we are the beloved of Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. Know that we are beloved instead of letting religion tell us we are sinners saved by grace who need to adhere to a set of rules to be pleasing to Them.

Rules and regulations will never replace our friendship with Them! Once we realize who we are, this will bring us the ability to be a friend to others!
