Instruction — ”Remember what you were taught from your childhood from the Holy Scrolls which can impart to you wisdom to experience everlasting life through the faith of Jesus, the Anointed One! God has transmitted His very substance into every Scripture, for it is God-breathed. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you.” (2 Timothy 3:15-17, The Passion Translation)

Many times we read the Bible as an instruction manual. We even have sayings like, “B.I.B.L.E. stands for Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.” It’s conveys the very essence of Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. Yes it contains instructions, but it is way more than that. It shows us mistakes of the past and examples of how to avoid them. It conveys how much we are loved and cared for and shows us how to love and care for others and the rest of creation. It’s so much more than just a book of instructions. It’s a living love letter to help navigate us through life.

Ask Holy Spirit to help you see the life you can have when you see the Bible as being  alive!
