Fathers

Fathers, 1Cor. 4:14-16 (TPT), “I’m not writing this to embarrass you or to shame you, but to correct you as the children I love. For although you could have countless countless babysittersr in Christ telling you what you’re doing wrong, you don’t have many fathers who correct you in love. But I’m a true father to you, for I became your father when I gave you the gospel and brought you into union with Jesus, the Anointed One. So I encourage you, my children, to follow the example that I live before you.”

Our culture is not much different than in Paul’s day. Lots of talking heads but not many true fathers to the body of Christ. Paul corrects the Corinthians in love; he isn’t lording his position over them. We all need fathers in our lives. The Body of Christ (the Church) is to be a family not a business. We need more fathers in our world to help us grow in the faith.

Be a blessing, Sir Gregory
