Mind — “And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let His mindset become your motivation.” (Philippians 2:5, The Passion Translation)

What kind of mind does Christ have? We are to be just like Him. Isaiah gave us an example: “He was oppressed and harshly mistreated; still He humbly submitted, refusing to defend Himself. He was brought like a gentle lamb to be slaughtered. Like a silent sheep before his shearers, He didn’t even open His mouth.” (Isaiah 53:7, The Passion Translation)

Can we say that when others speak ill and mistreat us that we are silent? Do we defend ourselves? Or can we have a mind like Christ’s? Paul encourages to that, so I would say yes we can!

Let’s be like Christ and change the world!
