Mindset, Phil 2:4-5 (The Passion Translation), “Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests. And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let His mindset become your motivation.”

The new King James Version says: “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.”

I like the term mindset; it speaks of a more permanent condition to me! To have the mindset of Christ is like water (or mire) is to a bulrush (we call them cattails). Without water they dry up. Without having a mindset like Christ we dry up.

Holy Spirit came so we can have a helper in our journey of becoming like Christ. We can change our mindsets with Their help. Yes, it is possible for us to have the mind of Christ!

With the mind of Christ we can become a fresh breath of air to those around us!
