Sacrifice, Rm 12:1 (The Mirror Bible), “Live consistent with who you really are, inspired by the loving kindness of God. My brothers, the most practical expression of worship is to make your bodies available to Him as a living sacrifice; this pleases Him more than any religious routine. He desires to find visible, individual expression in your person.”

When we hear the word sacrifice what comes to mind? Mostly we can think of putting someone or something on an altar. That can be true but Paul isn’t taking about that. He’s talking about us being the sacrifice to Daddy God. What would it mean to be a living sacrifice? It’s not killing ourselves; it’s giving up the ways of the world to  follow the ways of Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit.  The sacrifice is to love others and serve them.
