Suffering — “And then, after your brief suffering, the God of all loving grace, who has called you to share in His eternal glory in Christ, will personally and powerfully restore you and make you stronger than ever. Yes, He will set you firmly in place and build you up. And He has all the power needed to do this— forever! Amen.” (1Peter 5:10-11, The Passion Translation)

Suffering isn’t a forever thing, even though it may seem so. Christ has a seat right next to Him for all of us. It’s a seat that can never be taken away. Christ suffered a great deal so we would only have brief moments of suffering. As we walk with Christ in the day, the night, and in each moment of life, we become stronger and stronger in not only our own faith but in His also!

Let the brief suffering strengthen you today. Tomorrow is a better day!
