Thankful, Luke 17:14-16 (The Passion Translation), “When Jesus stopped to look at them, He spoke these words: “Go to be examined by the Jewish priests.” They set off, and they were healed while walking along the way. One of them, a Samaritan, when he discovered that he was completely healed, turned back to find Jesus, shouting out joyous praises and glorifying God. When he found Jesus, he fell down at His feet and thanked Him over and over, saying to Him, “You are the Messiah.”

All it took for the lepers to be healed was a look from Jesus. He sent them on their way to be examined by the priests. Yet only one who recognized he was healed by Jesus went back to thank Him.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving this week, can you recognize how Jesus has healed you? Was it spiritual, physical, emotional? Have you went back and thanked Him? If you haven’t, it’s okay, you can do it now! We are in the season of thankfulness — not just for yesterday, but for today and for tomorrow as well.

It’s a new day to walk in Thankfulness!
