World — “I have given them your message and that is why the unbelieving world hates them. For their allegiance is no longer to this world because I am not of this world. I am not asking that you remove them from the world, but I ask that you guard their hearts from evil, For they no longer belong to this world any more than I do.” (John 17:14-16, The Passion Translation)

In this world, we will have troubles and trails. Jesus told us this. Yet we still want the world to like us. The Mirror Bible says that the world hates believers because it can no longer manipulate them.

Even though the world hates the believers, Jesus didn’t want them removed from it. You might ask why? If the believers all were removed, how could the lost know what a believer looks like. Let’s stop wanting to escape this world but rather to change it back to its original design!
