Daily Vitamin

Worship, Matt 6:24 (The Passion Translation), “How could you worship two gods at the same time? You will have to hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t worship the true God while enslaved to the god of money!”

We do try to serve both the worldly systems and also Daddy God. We quickly find out that we can’t serve both. We become depressed, discouraged, and double minded.

Paul said, “I’m obviously not trying to flatter you or water down my message to be popular with men, but my supreme passion is to please God. For if all I attempt to do is please people, I would fail to be a true servant of Christ.” (Gal 1:10, TPT)

Who are you serving today? The Creator of all things or the god of this world?

Let’s us be like Joshua who said, “If it seems wrong in your eyes to serve Yahweh, then make your decision today which gods you will worship—the gods which your ancestors worshiped in Mesopotamia or the gods which the Amorites worship in the land where you are now living—but I and my family, we will give our lives to worship and serve Yahweh!” (Joshua 24:15, TPT)
