Bread, John 6:32-35 (The Passion Translation), “The truth is,” Jesus said, “Moses didn’t give you the bread of heaven. It’s My Father who offers bread that comes as a dramatic signt from heaven. The bread of God is the One who came out of heaven to give His life to feed the world.” “Then please, sir, give us this bread every day,” they replied. Jesus said to them, “I am the Bread of Life. Come every day to Me and you will never be hungry. Believe in Me and you will never be thirsty.”

Just like our body needs bread (food) so does our spirit. You can only go for a few days without food and water before your body starts to starve, eventually dying without it. The same goes for your spirit; it can only go for so long before it dries up. Jesus told the people to come to Him daily, not every now and then.

Spend some time with Jesus today. He’s waiting on you!
