Grace, 1 Cor 10:23 (The Passion Translation), “You say, “Under grace there are no rules and we’re free to do anything we please.” Not exactly. Because not everything promotes growth in others. Your slogan, “We’re allowed to do anything we choose,” may be true—but not everything causes the spiritual advancement of others.”

Even in the early church, people looked for ways to do whatever they wanted. Paul clearly tells us yes, under grace, all things are permitted but not all things are beneficial. We still struggle with this in our modern world. The slogan ‘what would Jesus do’ (WWJD) fits right here. If we stop and asked this question, it would keep us out of a lot of trouble.

Grace is truly a gift that we don’t want to misuse!
