Life, John 5:39-40 (The Passion Translation), “You are busy analyzing the Scriptures, poring over them hoping to gain eternal life. Everything you read points to Me, yet you still refuse to come to Me so I can give you the life you’re looking for—eternal life!”

We have become such an externally focused society that we have forgotten the Author and Creator of all things. We have even exalted the scriptures over the one they speak of. The scriptures point us to Jesus, Daddy God, and Holy Spirit. Yet they also tell us that They are alive in us, dwelling among us.

Don’t substitute the written word for the Living Word!
