Redeemer, Job 19:25 (New King James), “For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth..”

What is a redeemer? It’s someone who buys back something lost or stolen. For Job, he had no doubts that Daddy God would redeem all that was taken. Ruth had a kinsman-redeemer in Boaz who bought back her families heritage. Jesus is our redeemer. He took back all that was stolen by our adversary.

Another small word Job used was ‘know’ because he was sure. He had no doubts, no ifs, and no buts about who Daddy God is or what He would do. Too many times in our culture and society, we use the word hope instead of know! We need to settle any questions in our own hearts.

Let me ask do you, do you hope or do you know that Jesus is our Redeemer? Don’t answer too quickly. Take all the time you need. Jesus, Daddy God, and Holy Spirit aren’t going anywhere.
