Tears, 1 Cor 6:19-20 (The Passion Translation), “Have you forgotten that your body is now the sacred temple of the Spirit of Holiness, who lives in you? You don’t belong to yourself any longer, for the gift of God, Holy Spirit, lives inside your sanctuary. You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God!”

Even before Jesus was crucified on the cross, He shed blood for you in the garden. In the moment He shed blood with such anguish, all of His followers had either fallen asleep or left Him alone. It seems like an impossible thing to sweat blood, yet it has been proven that heavy stress and trauma can cause this phenomenon.

You are so loved by Jesus that as He died on the cross for you, His tears mixed with blood as they flowed down His face.

Let’s live a life worth of Jesus’ tears!
