Victory, 1 Cor 15:57-58 (The Mirror Bible), “Your victory is not a maybe; because of the magnanimous doing of Jesus Christ, it is a given. For this reason you can afford to be absolutely settled and rock-solid in faith’s persuasion and always ready to go beyond where you would have gone before. Your doing now is inspired by your knowing that you are in Him. If His resurrection is yours then His victory over sin and death is equally yours.”

Jesus didn’t simply overcome sin, death, and guilt — the big-three of life’s struggles. He also completely defeated them. He not only did this Himself, He did it for all of mankind too. He put death, sin, and guilt under our feet. The only power they have is the power we give them. He made us victorious before we ever walk onto the battlefield.
