Bread, Deut 8:3 (NKJV), “So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord”

When we think of bread, we think of food. But Daddy God was talking about more than just food. When Jesus’ disciples asked to be taught how to pray, His response included all of our needs.

Matt 6:9–11 (NKJV), “In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth  as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.”

He started with acknowledgment of who Daddy God is and that He is most important. Our Father is more important than bread or stuff!

Jesus is the word according to John 1:1–2 (NKJV): “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.”

Is Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit the most important thing in your life? Or is it your bread?
