Conquered, John 16:31-33 (The Passion Translation), “Jesus replied, ‘Now you finally believe in Me. And the time has come when you will all be scattered, and each one of you will go your own way, leaving Me alone! Yet I am never alone, for the Father is always with Me. And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in Me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in Me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!’”

Jesus not only taught the disciples, He also showed them how to be victorious over their circumstances. He forewarned them of coming trouble, but also encouraged them to not lose heart for He had showed them how to have peace in the midst of it! His peace is how we conquer.

Let’s work on conquering our today and leave yesterday in the past! And, let’s let tomorrow come as it will.
