Portion, Lam 3:22-24 (The Passion Translation), “YAHWEH’s tender merciesr have no end, and the kindness of His endless love is never exhausted. New, fresh mercies greet me with every sunrise. So wonderfully great is your faithfulness! I tell my soul, “YAHWEH is my abundant portion. I need nothing more. So, I will put all my hope in Him.”

Daddy God is our portion. He’s not interested in our place in the world’s systems. His mercies are everlasting. They are new and fresh every day, not just in the turning of the calendar. We all have things that we thought we’d accomplish in the past season. And, as we are looking for things to change, we make commitments that we fail to ask Daddy God about.

Everything we do should be filtered through our relationship with Him. Before you make any new resolutions this year, remember that Daddy God is our abundant portion. So ask Him what you should do!
